Your style is fresh and innovative and keeps me motivated.
Kim,
Thank you so much for making my workouts fun! I actually look forward to your step class, and I can't believe how fast the hour goes by. Your style is fresh and innovative and keeps me motivated. I can honestly say I have become addicted to stepping! Working out with you has made reaching my fitness goals a reality!

Kim has been a true inspiration to me and my fitness goals.
Kim has been a true inspiration to me and my fitness goals. Last June, I started a weight loss journey that would result in the loss of 60lbs, and the gain of a more healthy, confident, and active mother of 2. I started out with initially just losing weight by eating healthy, and then decided that I needed more. I began going to the gym and went to one of Kim's classes and have been going ever since. She has an incredible way of teaching and building my confidence. She is outgoing and most definitely motivating. I used to be a dancer in high school and have always missed that escape in my life but by going to her classes I not only fulfill that but also keep myself active and healthy by maintaining my weight. Kim, you have really motivated me and helped me achieve goals that I almost didn't think were possible. Thank you!!

It was your classes...that kept me interested and motivated
Hi Kim,
Not sure if you remember me, but I sure enjoyed your classes when you taught at Fitness Now. I was always a person who would start a gym and then quit within a couple of months. Fitness Now, where you were the coordinator, was the first gym that I faithfully worked out for two solid years until it closed. (I have a new gym, but sure miss you and Fitness Now) I believe it was your classes, and a few of your instructors, that kept me interested and motivated to keep coming to the gym. I have loved the results and have continued to stay in shape...thinking of instructing some day. Thank you so much and I wish you all the luck. Come see us in Oceanside again sometime.
Thanks again, Julianna Meiner .
Working with Kim, my self-confidence has improved 100%
I had been working as a personal trainer for 10 years and decided to learn how to teach group fitness. Kim actually took the time to explain how to build and layer choreography.
She has never-ending energy and patience when it comes to teaching other instructors.
Asking instructors questions can sometimes be intimidating, but never with Kim. I have learned more from Kim Miller than any other instructor because she actually demonstrated teaching techniques to me and explained why to do each thing as we did it.
I used to experience crippling stage-fright when teaching. Since working with Kim, my self-confidence has improved 100% and I love putting on that mike! I thoroughly enjoy teaching on stage now.
She helps me modify choreography to make it appropriate for the older adult population I work with.
Kim rocks...

Her vibrant friendly personality makes learning fun
I have been in the industry for fifteen years. Over the last five years I have attended many of Kim Miller‘s workshops and have found them to very inspirational. Her vibrant friendly personality makes learning fun. Her great choreography and detailed instruction on breaking it down has made me a better instructor.

Her tips ....... really helped me instruct better
"I have attended several workshops of Kim Miller's and in all of them, I always learn that the principal of adding on a new sequence should not be boring and slow down the class while you teach them the next sequence. Her tips on what to do while you’re adding on, really helped me instruct better.
Also, it is okay to not have a perfect 8-count all the time, if you learn how to choreograph so that it all eventually balances out. This type of choreography makes a class more interesting to participants."

She is a positive influence in the fitness industry
To who this may concern:
I had the wonderful pleasure of working for Kim when she was the Fitness Director at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. A true inspiration, I was always amazed at how easily she transitioned from instructing a group of Hard Corps Marines, than a group of dependents, while always maintaining a high level of fitness and the perfect balance of fun, pushing each group to achieve their desired fitness goals.
I'm proud that she took me under her wing to develop me into the professional that I am today. A great friend, with a bigger heart, she looks for opportunities to help others. Kim has been instrumental in my maturation in the fitness industry which has enabled me to confidently teach at Fitness Now, Crunch and most recently at Gold's Murrieta. She is a positive influence in the fitness industry.
Over the past nine years I have attended many of her workshops, and always leave impressed and motivated to be a better professional. She is an outstanding instructor who breathes new life into all that she touches.
Kim is an awesome Fitness Professional, but most of all she is a beautiful woman.
I am always excited to see what she is involved with next! Everything she touches turns to Gold!

As a new instructor, she took me under her wing
Kim is truely an inspiration, in the aerobics room and in life. As a new instructor, she took me under her wing and taught me the fundamentals of music, teaching and most impotantly having fun! Kim is an exceptional instructor and has so much to share with other instructors and members alike. Her love for fitness and life is what draws people to her. After almost each and every class, you will find groups of members sticking around to share a few words with Kim...and it is her free spirit and caring personality that they leave with. I feel blessed to have met such a wonderful person, everyone should have a Kim Miller in their life!

I lost 25 lbs
I have been exercising faithfully for 17 years. I lost 25 lbs. at first, then have lost all my weight after 2 children. It also is great for my sanity too. I walked into Kim's class after the 2nd or 3rd time and she mentioned that I need to become certified. I thought she was joking. The next class I went to she said it again. I said OK what does it entail? I said OK let me talk it over with my family. Now, here I am a certified instructor. Kim has been such an inspiration to me. I am going to IDEA with her in April. This has definitely boosted my confidence. I never thought I could do it. Thank you, Kim and everyone for your support.

There is a sincerity in her teaching technique
My name is Jo-Anna Mitrano. I’ve been teaching for approximately 20 years now.
I typically attend two international conferences a year as well as local workshops to improve my teaching skills and stay current with fitness trends.
I have participated in many workshops with the most highly respected presenters in the industry and I have to say Kim Miller definitely holds her own! As a student in her classes as well as her workshops, she is passionate, enthusiastic, and there is a sincerity in her teaching technique. There is no doubt that her goal is for all participants to walk away with extra knowledge about fitness and health as well as a thrill of a successful workout.
She is impeccable with her breakdowns, which is a true sign of a “teacher” as opposed to a “performer”. She miraculously takes me from a “simple” foot pattern to a fun, variation on that pattern. I’m gently led to this “new” level pattern successfully and I’m having a great and fun time along the way!
What also makes Kim stand out is how empowering she is. She is someone I now consult with on choreography, strength and muscle work, as well as advice about music and trends in the industry. Over the years my teaching as drastically improved, and I have to say Kim Miller has been the largest part of my growth and my improved skills as a fitness instructor.
She is a powerhouse!
I joined the gym 6 months after having my first child
January 25, 2006
I first met Kim Miller in 1999 after just relocating to California. At that time, she was the Fitness Coordinator/Instructor for a gym in Oceanside where I was a member. I joined the gym 6 months after having my first child and being new to California. I was very anxious to get the weight off but more importantly, it was at this time in my life when I really needed a motivator, an inspiration, and someone whom I could learn so much from. That person happens to be Kim.
Kim forced me to take pride in myself and my abilities by teaching new and fun choreography on an ongoing basis. Kim is so knowledgeable, energetic, has the most interesting and awesome choreography. Above all, Kim has the most remarkable personality as an instructor that I have ever known.
I was a student for several years under Kim’s instruction and eventually, I began attending her workshops simply because I enjoy Kim’s style of teaching and her ability to teach me even more through her choreography and energetic style in every single class that I have taken under Kim’s instruction. (including kickboxing and sculpting classes.)
Kim Miller is my mentor in the fitness industry.
